Knock knock
Addie loves knock knock jokes, but I don't think she quite grasps the concept yet. Here is one that she told to me while we were driving home today:
Addie: Knock, knock
Me: Who's there?
Addie: Pnifshinf
Me: Pnifshinf who?
Addie: Pnif funny!
Here's another...
Addie: Knock knock
Me: Who's there?
Addie: Ding dong! *hysterical laughing*

Sisters
One of Addie's favorite games is "Bedtime." She will either put us to bed or she will pretend to go to sleep herself. Sometimes this game evolves into a version of "5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed," sometimes it just turns into hiding under the covers. Today Charlotte started crawling all over Addie while she was "sleeping." Usually when this happens it invokes screaming and pushing, but today Addie just took Charlotte's hands and started making her swim like a turtle. Then Charlotte gave Addie a hug and Addie said, "Awwww, you're the most best friend!"

When you grow up
Sean turned 28 a couple days ago. We were busy cleaning the yard on his actual birthday. Then we went out for a late dinner. So we finally had his cake tonight. Sean asked if we had enough candles and I had to answer "no." We only had the rest of the box from Addie's birthday. So we put two candles on one side of the cake and eight candles on the other side. We then decided that the age you officially grow up is 24 because that is the year you outgrow the box of candles. Happy birthday, Sean!!

Happy Birthday, Addie!
Take a look at our sidebar. It is hard to believe that the little girl in the swing is now 3 years old. It is even more amazing to look back and see how much she has grown in this past year. The other day I was looking at old posts and watched this video of her birthday last year. It is hard to remember her talking like that. She can now carry on complete conversations and is MUCH easier to understand. But she still didn't like the singing this year. I'll add some pictures to this post tomorrow, they are still downloading off the card and it is time for bed.
