Trains!

I went to IKEA a couple nights ago and found this train set for $12. I wasn't looking for things for Addie, but I think it was $12 well spent. It is the only thing she has played with these last few days (which is great because my house is staying clean!).
Here the trains are taking a nap:

Daddy and the girls playing... Sean forgot to wear his matching dress.
Charlotte likes to play with trains, too!

99, 95, 86

Those were our bowling scores tonight. Bumper bowling scores. Addie scored the 95. I'm pretty sure I used the bumpers as much or more than Addie did. Sean got the 86, but to be fair, he did use the bumpers less than any of us.

Char-Char's new trick

I can't believe she is doing this, it doesn't seem like she should be this old yet! Although she can only sit for about 60 seconds, it really is amazing that she can sit at all with Addie constantly tackling her. Addie thinks it is hilarious to give Charlotte a hug and make her fall over (Charlotte thinks it is pretty funny as well).

Adeline teaching Charlotte how to sit. Excuse the mess, it is laundry day. I'm bummed that this is the best picture I got of Addie hugging Char, it really was super cute to watch them.
Another hug/clobber picture.
"Bye guys! That's all I have for today!"

Faces

Sean was teaching Addie how to make faces at Mommy.

Then they blew me kisses!

I'm so mean!

First onions, and now lemons. The other night we had salmon for dinner. And, of course, you can't have salmon without a slice of lemon (or in my case, 12 slices of lemon). Charlotte was sitting on my lap and was SUPER interested in the lemons, so I let her try a taste.

She wasn't too sure at first, but after I took it away she wanted more... and more... and more. Then Addie wanted a taste, but she stopped after the first bite!

Addie and the Onion

Adeline likes to help me cook dinner. She also likes to take little bites of things as we are cooking them. Last night I was chopping an onion and she decided that she wanted to eat it. She doesn't try new foods very often, so I don't want to discourage her from trying things. Plus, my grandma used to eat onions raw with mayonaise, so maybe Addie picked up that trait. She took about 3 bites and seemed to be enjoying it. I ran off to get the camera to document her chowing down on the onion. She took 2 more bites after I got back. I don't know if she bit her tongue or if the taste finally got to her, but she didn't like it anymore!

Does she look scared?

My visiting teacher made this dress for Charlotte, she is so talented!!

These boots were made for...

Addie found my boots today. I think they got more use today then they have in the last couple years. Sorry, Mom, for the slideshow, but I wanted to show lots of pictures and didn't want to take up the whole page. Also, check out her outfit. I made it the other day! I haven't decided if I am going to hem it a little more and turn it into a shirt or keep it as a short dress and have her wear it with leggings. Opinions?

My Twins

I walked to the grocery store the other day. The girls were both dressed in light green and were wearing cute sun-hats. As I was pushing the double stroller through the store a lady stopped me and said, "Oh, what cute twins you have!"

I must have looked confused because she asked, "They are twins, aren't they?"

Me: "Ummmmm.... she's two (pointing to Addie), and she's 4 months (pointing to Charlotte)." (Still looking very confused).

Her: "Oh, well they look like twins. They are very cute."

Me: "Thanks."

So, what do you think? Can you tell them apart? They were both wearing light pink today, should I stop dressing them alike so that I don't confuse anyone else?

My new blog

I've been wanting to post about my recent shopping expiditions and my progress on cutting our food bill, but I've been hesitant because I know most people come to this blog to see new pictures of the girls. So I decided to start a new blog in case anyone is interested in my groceries. April's new blog.
