Nora enjoyed her first ever cookie during family home evening tonight. She approves. 

Standing tall

Look what this little one learned how to do. She's growing up way too fast. She had her 6 month old shots yesterday and weighed in at 13 pounds 15 ounces. This girl LOVES to eat. When you sit her in her high chair she shrieks until you put something in her mouth. Tonight she had avocado and rice cakes.

Back to school

Charlotte started 2nd grade and Addie started 4th grade. They're wearing dresses that they bought on their weekend trip to visit Grandma. Of course, Emmy had to get in on the picture also. 

Day 2, they rode their bikes to school. 

Emmy says...

Last night we took Addie down to Cheyenne so grandpa could pick her up for the weekend. Emmy was asleep for most of the 2 hour ride. When we got to our destination, Sean asked her, "Emmy, did you have a good nap?"

Emmy replied, "I didn't take a nap, I was blinking!" 

Milestones

This little munchkin can now sit up and crawl.

6 months

Today Nora is 6 months old. The older girls celebrated by building her a house. 

Playing

The girls have been playing so nicely today and I love it! They do have their times where they squabble (mostly between Addie and Charlotte), but for the most part they get along. But then there are times like these when they all play together, and cooperate, and are just dang cute. 

Sean let me sleep in this morning, and when I woke up I came upstairs to find Addie giving the other 3 a sled ride through the kitchen. 

Later in the morning try made a fort out of the couch. 

Yep, that's Nora in a baby car seat.

Tonight at dinner, Emmy announced that she is going to call Nora "June."  Addie and Charlotte decided it would be better to call her "January" since she was born in that month. I've been trying to come up with a nickname for this little one and I'm hoping that this sticks because I think it's cute. Maybe Junebug? 

I have toes!

This little one has discovered her toes; and she likes them almost as much as I like them. 

The Best Part Of Me

Adeline wrote this at the beginning of 3rd grade. It says:

My favorite part of me is my smile. One reason I like my smile is because it is gorgeous. Something else I like about it is that it is vast. This is all about my favorite part of me. 

Knees and toes

Nora got up on her hands and knees today. She's been rolling and scooting everywhere recently, but its not going to be too much longer before she's completely mobile. Guess we need to break out the baby gates.

Of course, just like Emmy, I'm having a hard time catching it on camera. She also loves her toes. Diaper changes are getting to be an adventure because she's either rolling over or eating her toes.
