Hot chocolate? Sure.

If Emmy ever comes up to you and says, "hah-shocklat, peas, hah-shocklat!"  What she is really asking for is chocolate milk.  When you ask her if she wants chocolate milk she will run to the fridge and get it out, so she obviously knows what it is.  I just think that it is so funny that she calls it "hot chocolate" so I don't correct her.

Also, she very, very, very rarely will say "yes."  Instead she will say "sure."  No matter what you ask her, if she wants it, she will say "sure."

Emmy, do you want to go play outside?
Sure.

Emmy, are you hungry?
Sure.

Emmy, do you want me to take your picture?
Sure.

Emmy, do you want some hot chocolate?
Sure.

The funniest thing about it is the inflection (or lack of it) that she has.  She could be super excited about what you are asking her, but by the way she says "sure" it sounds like she could take it or leave it.

Emmy, do you want some candy?
**In a very flat and monotone voice**  Sure.
**And then she proceeds to jump up and down like a crazy person.**

When I am 100

Adeline

When I am one hundred years old I will have a lot of money because before I get retired I will be a scientist. I will wear purple earrings, a purple dress, a pink bow, and purple gloves. I will have gray curly hair. My skin will be wrinkly. I will have a black dog and a black cat. Every day I will wake up, eat a good breakfast, get dressed, take my black dog for a walk, watch the weather channel, eat lunch, go see my daughter, get ice cream, do the laundry, eat dinner, and go to sleep in my big bed.

Flowers

I was in another room for a couple minutes when I hear Emmy calling, "Mom look! Mom look! All clean!!" She was so proud of herself.

Good thing the flowers were on their last leg anyway.
