4 months old

Today I left Nora on her back while I ran and put some laundry in the dryer. When I came back she had rolled onto her tummy.

It's amazing how quickly she is learning and growing. She is quickly learning to control her hands; she was trying to grab buttons off Sean's shirt yesterday. She loves to play in her walker and enjoys sitting at the table with us at dinner. She gives big giant smiles to anyone who talks to her and she has started laughing sometimes when you tickle her.  She will also arch her back when you go to pick her up so it is easier to scoop your hands under her.  We're so lucky to have this little one in our lives.

Spelling words

I'm not sure why this made me chuckle, but it did. Charlotte was practicing her spelling words by writing them in sentences. Some of her words this week were: house, early, learn, science, and through.

3 months

Nora is 3 months old today. I can't believe she's already 25% of the way to a year. Time is going way too fast. She is such a sweet baby.

Yesterday I had a patient tell me how lucky I am because he always wanted 6 girls. I'd have to say that I agree with him, I am pretty lucky, these 4 girls I have are amazing.

Happy Easter!

We went to Montana for Easter this year. The girls had mustaches in their baskets. Emmy said that hers was too itchy, so we put it on Nora instead.

And the little one said "roll over"

Guess who just rolled over for the first time? This little one. We're driving home from Montana and stopped in Wendy's for lunch. We put Nora on the ground so that she could stretch a bit before getting back in the car and she rolled from her stomach onto her back. Completely on accident, but still fun.

The littles

Emerson loves her sister, and she is very protective. She doesn't like people looking at Nora unless she knows you and likes you. When we go to the store and strangers try to look at Nora, Emmy will try her best to cover up Nora and say "no, that's my sisser!"

My favorite thing, though, is when Nora gets fussy Emmy will sing to her to try and make her happy.

Roaming Wyoming

Before we left Texas, I made a list of things that I would miss. But one thing that I really enjoy about Wyoming is nothing.

This is my drive to get to Target. Miles of nothingness, and I love it. 35ish minutes of quiet (well, relative quiet depending on how many kids I have with me).

I'm really not sure why I love it so much, but this drive always makes me happy.

2 months

At 2 months old, Nora is 9 lbs 10oz and 21.5 inches long. She loves napping, her swing, and her pacifier. She is an expert at escaping her swaddle blanket and loves "talking" to her sisters.

When Adeline is 100

When I'm 100 years old I will get up, eat breakfast, watch hockey, nap, eat lunch, nap, feed my cat, eat dinner, and go to bed. I'll live with Lillee, and Meridian. I'll have a wheelchair. I'll have 1,000 wrinkles. I will have gray hair. That's what I'll be like when I'm 100 years old.

When Charlotte is 100

I will have glasses and not see well. I also will live in a old house and sleep in a old bed. I will have a lot of hair and have a walking cane. And I will bild (build) baskets.
